FAQ

Questions parents ask on every tour.

If yours isn't here, call or send it through the tour form — we answer the same day.

What are your hours?

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Open year-round, including most school breaks.

What ages do you take?

Infants from 6 weeks through school-age children up to 6th grade, including before & after school care and a summer program.

Do you have openings right now?

Yes — we're currently enrolling. Openings change weekly by room; call us or request a tour and we'll tell you exactly what's available for your child's age.

How much is tuition?

Rates are listed on our Tuition page by program and schedule. We accept the NYS Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and offer a sibling discount.

Do you provide meals?

[MEAL POLICY — e.g. Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are included and follow CACFP guidelines. Infant formula and breast milk are provided by families.]

What if my child is sick?

Children need to stay home with a fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, or an undiagnosed rash, and be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning. We'll call you right away if your child becomes ill during the day.

How do you communicate with parents?

Through our family app: real-time check-in/out, daily notes and photos, direct messages with your child's teachers, and billing — all in one place. Emergencies go out by text and phone.

Do you pick up from local schools?

[TRANSPORTATION POLICY — which Horseheads elementary schools we serve, and whether it's district busing or our van.]

Are you open on school holidays and snow days?

Yes. School-age care runs full-day on half days, snow days, and breaks. Our own closure calendar is shared with families in the app.

How do I enroll?

Schedule a tour (in person or by video), then we'll send the enrollment packet to sign online. Most families are enrolled within a week of their tour.
